What is causing the problem in this image above? Seems to get worse with heat but also demonstrated the same problem mildly with another AP8. You can see the images of M16 in the gallery, done with the camera configured identically. In fact this can happen from one night to the next with seemingly no provocation as the equipment is all permanently mounted and is not reconfigured from night to night. Using a 6.3 Focal reducer made the defect smaller. See other images in the gallery.
